About Lampert Cigars

Lampert is a boutique premium cigar brand founded by Dr. Stefan Lampert, an Austrian lawyer and passionate cigar enthusiast. The concept was inspired during his travels in Thailand in 2016, driven by a desire to customize premium products to individual preferences.

The initial concepts were launched in the late 2010s. The brand entered the market around 2018–2019 and expanded rapidly into multiple countries. The company’s approach is deeply rooted in innovation, personalization, and premium tobacco selection.

Manufacturing and Production

The handcrafted cigars come from several countries, including Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic. Manufacturing location depends on the cigar line and blend.

Established factories ensure consistency in construction and quality across the portfolio. For example, the Ocean Breeze line is produced by Tabacos de Costa Rica S.A., known for meticulous rolling standards and balance.

Brand Heritage and Lampert Identity

The brand draws on a historic family legacy and personal storytelling as part of its identity. The family name reflects European heritage spanning centuries. Yet, it maintains a contemporary image.

While grounded in craftsmanship, the company emphasizes modern quality over tradition alone. It includes multiple lines and is not tied to a single blend or factory.

Tobacco Selection and Blend Philosophy

The cigars are crafted using premium tobaccos from key growing regions. This creates a range of flavor profiles and strengths that differ by line.

1675 Edición Azul and Rojo feature Ecuadorian wrappers with Nicaraguan binders and fillers from Condega and Jalapa, Nicaragua.
1675 Edición Morado uses a Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper over Nicaraguan long-filler tobaccos, producing rich, dark flavors and nuanced character.
Ocean Breeze blends are recognized for lighter, aromatic profiles, often using Ecuadorian Criollo or Connecticut wrappers for balanced complexity.

Their blend philosophy focuses on balance, distinct flavor, and structural integrity. These cigars appeal to aficionados seeking complexity without sacrificing smoothness.

Flavor Profile and Smoking Experience of Lampert Cigars

The range offers diverse flavor experiences depending on the blend selected. Each cigar provides a unique smoking journey tailored for enthusiasts.

1675 Azul delivers layers of earth, cedar, spice, and cocoa in a medium-to-full body.
1675 Rojo with an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper presents cream, oak, nuts, and light pepper alongside the traditional Nicaraguan strength.
1675 Morado offers rich profiles featuring charred oak, espresso, mocha, raisin sweetness, and pepper spice.
Ocean Breeze cigars showcase lighter spice, nutty undertones, and a crisp finish, appealing to a broad smoker base.

All Lampert cigars are praised for construction quality. Observers note even burn, stable draws, and well-formed ash, showing disciplined rolling standards.

Notable Lines in the Collection

The portfolio includes several distinct series that highlight its evolving identity and blend ambitions. These lines represent dedication to innovation and quality.
