Plasencia Cosecha 149 Cortez
Per Halfwheel
Cosecha 149 Cortez is a 5 3/4 x 56 figurado with an MSRP of $18.90 per cigar that is being sold in 10-count boxes. The Honduran puro is being rolled at the company’s Tabacos de Oriente factory in Honduras and uses the same tobacco as the rest of the Cosecha 149 line that debuted in 2021: the wrapper is grown in Olancho, San Agustín, while the binder is from the Jamastran Valley and the tobaccos in the filler were sourced from the Jamastran Valley, Olancho and Talanga.
Plasencia Cosecha 149 is a rich, balanced puro and our first all-Honduran cigar. All the leaves were grown in the fertile Honduran regions of Olancho, the Jamastran Valley, and Talanga, acquiring a deep, well-fermented character while aging since being harvested in 2014. Plasencia Cosecha 149 is a full-bodied, medium- to full-strength cigar balanced by distinct notes of cream, dark chocolate, and a subtle yet earthy hint of cedar.
