Warped La Colmena 10 year Anniversary Limited Edition
5 7/8 x 50
this is in my top 10 no question this year! ®️
The new cigar is made at Miami's El Titan de Bronze factory and measures 5 7/8 inches by 50 ring gauge, but the blend is different from the existing corona-sized Amado No. 44. While the wrapper is still the same light, Connecticut-seed tobacco from Ecuador, brand owner Kyle Gellis says that the rest of the blend is stronger. It’s still composed of an Ecuadoran binder and filler from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua, but the tobaccos were culled from higher positions on the plant, resulting in stronger leaves.
“We wanted to showcase how the La Colmena blend could be amped up with higher-priming tobaccos,” Gellis says.

The La Colmena Amado No. 50 shipped earlier this week and has a suggested retail price of $26 per cigar. It comes in boxes of 10. Only 2,000 boxes are being produced.
This cigar is part of a trilogy of anniversary editions and follows the release of the El Oso and Don Reynaldo 10th Anniversary cigars, which came out earlier this year.
